Mold Cleanup from Water Damage

This was a job in which the crew cleaned up and re mediated mold that was growing behind the dishwasher unit.  The customer had a small water leak that caused the dry wall behind the dish washer to exhibit signs of mold growth.  SERVPRO of Northeast Fort Worth came out and had a mold inspector check for growth and produce a protocol which helped set the scope of the remediation.  The area was then put under containment and the crew worked to get the mold cleaned out of the house.  Containment is used to contain and not spread any mold within the house, this is done by taping off every possible kitchen opening and using taped plastic sheeting to protect the un affected areas in the house. The mold is removed and the area is cleaned using abatement procedures.  Air scrubbers are used to clean the air as well.  The mold IH or inspector is then called into the home in order to test for any mold.  Once he clears the house, through testing , then the area containment is removed thus completing the job.
